Branson Band Performing at The Golden Husk Theatre in Ord

Get ready to welcome The Petersens Band from Branson, Missouri to The Golden Husk Theatre in Ord, Nebraska on Friday, October 26th at 7:30 p.m. The Petersens will delight audiences with a two-hour performance featuring bluegrass standards, gospel favorites, original music, and sibling humor during the family friendly show!

The Petersens are an award-winning bluegrass band in their eighth season of shows at the Little Opry Theatre in the Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex. The Petersens give audiences a taste of the authentic Branson music scene with their refreshingly all acoustic show.

Band members include Katie, Ellen, Matt and Julianne Petersen and Emmet Franz. They will showcase their musical talents on the fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin and dobro, as well as beautiful vocals.

In 2015, the band received international attention when banjo player, Ellen Petersen, competed in the singing reality TV show, American Idol and placed in the top 48. This February, The Petersens were recognized nationally by the bluegrass community when they competed in the International Bluegrass Competition in Nashville and were awarded fourth place. Just recently Katie Petersen was awarded Fiddler of the Year and the band received the Little Big Show Award during the Branson Terry Music Awards. The family has toured throughout the United States and Canada and are set to take their third tour to Ireland in January.
