Celebrating Leaps & Bounds in Valley County

Increased business activity, new construction and site development, alumni and newcomers relocating to the area and greater volunteer engagement throughout Valley County are certainly aspects of growth, among many others, that deserve to be celebrated.

Community members are invited to celebrate the Leaps & Bounds that have occured in our county-wide community throughout the past year during the Annual Celebration hosted by the Ord Area Chamber of Commerce, Valley County Economic Development (VCED) and Valley County Community Foundation Fund (VCCFF) on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Valley County Fairgrounds.

Throughout the past few weeks, Chamber members, VCED sponsors and VCCFF donors have nominated and voted for deserving businesses, organizations and volunteers. Here are the nominees:

Every nominee from all categories contributes exceptional offerings and amenities in our community. Winners for each award will be announced at the Annual Celebration on April 1.

Tickets for the Annual Celebration are available at the Chamber and VCED office (1514 K Street, Ord) and at the VCCFF office (129 South 16th Street, Ord) for $20 per person or $35 per couple. The event will feature delicious hors d’oeuvres by Elyria Gardens Catering, a cash bar by the Loup Valley Ag Society, spirited entertainment and meaningful connection among attendees. You can follow continuous updates on the Facebook event. We hope to see you there as we celebrate the great people and places of Valley County!
