Lied Center Performance Coming to Valley County

Ten-year old Evan Davis delights in looking at the sky through his beloved telescope, but a family loss, a fear of storms and a school bully are making life difficult. When a tornado hits town, blowing in with it a mysterious time-traveling teacher, Evan has no choice but to confront all the storms he faces.  “Anything is possible” when you have a tight knit family, a love of learning, and help from a wise teacher.

What the Wind Taught Me is an original play by Becky Key Boesen, commissioned by the Lied Center for Performing Arts.  The performance is a unique combination of theater, film, and audience participation.  You can watch the trailer for What the Wind Taught Me by clicking HERE.
