New Event Considered for ExtraORDinary Days

The Ord Area Chamber of Commerce is considering a flea market event during ExtraORDinary Days.  The flea market would be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at Bussell Park in Ord.  A variety of vendors are welcome to participate including baked goods, traditional and ethnic foods, crafts, jewelry, art, and independent consultants, among others.  There will be no fee for vendors to participate.  At least 15 vendors must be registered by Monday, April 16, 2012 in order for the event to take place.  Vendors will be required to provide their own tents, tables, chairs, and other materials for their booth.  They will also be responsible for setting up and taking down their own booth.

In conjunction with the flea market, several other events will take place in the park on Saturday to attract community members and out-of-town visitors.  These events will include a kid’s fishing contest at Aubles Pond, free swimming at Ord’s pool, live entertainment, and more.

If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact the Ord Area Chamber of Commerce for a registration form by April 16th at (308) 728-7875 or email Kristina at
