Support Leadership Efforts in Valley County

Project partners of the SynoVation Valley Leadership Academy (SVLA) recognize the importance of investing in our most valuable asset: our people. Individuals that live or work in Valley County, as well as other regional leaders, are encouraged to apply for the academy which begins this fall. The early bird application deadline is July 15th and the final application deadline is August 1st.

Businesses and organizations can support leadership efforts in Valley County in a variety of ways:

1. Charitable Donations to Leadership in Valley County:  A business, organization or an   individual may make a charitable donation to support leadership in Valley County.  Businesses, organizations or individuals making contributions of $500.00 or more will be recognized as a SynoVation Valley Leadership Academy (SVLA) session sponsor and recognized in program materials.  Sponsorships may be donated online to Valley County Leadership Account within the Valley County Community Foundation Fund at www.nebcommfoundation.org/fund/valley-county or by check or cash to the Valley County Community Foundation Fund-Valley County Leadership Account, 1514 K Street, Suite 2, Ord, NE  68862.

2. SVLA Program Referral:  As a business leader and/or community leader in Valley County, please consider offering the SVLA program opportunity to potential candidates for participation.  The  SynoVation Valley Leadership Academy (SVLA), will provide participants with the knowledge, insight, and experience to make a positive difference for their family, business, and community.  The creation of this leadership development program was ignited after the need was expressed during Valley County Economic Development’s annual business visitation program in 2012.  This comprehensive and innovative program has been customized to meet specific needs within the Valley County community.  Your referrals will enhance the future of Valley County!

3. SVLA Registration Fees:  Businesses may support employees participating in the SVLA program by offering to pay a portion or the complete program registration fee.  This type of leadership development training program would normally cost $1,600.00, however with grant funding the program is offered at the reduced rate of $350.00 for early bird registration (by July 15th) and $450.00 until   the final deadline, August 1, 2013.  Registration fees may be paid by check or cash to the Valley County Economic Development Board-SVLA Program, 1514 K Street, Ord, NE  68862.
