WinterFest & Holiday Promotions

WinterFest is just around the corner and the community celebration is full of exciting family activities, shopping opportunities, and community gatherings.  As usual, the annual event includes the WinterFest Parade, free horse and carriage rides (provided by Knight Trucking), a community soup supper (hosted by the Ord Township Library), Santa at the Library and the Toys for Tots basketball fundraiser.  The second annual Winter Wonderland Vendor Fair (coordinated by Heather Fox) will be held at the Valley Performing Arts Center (129 S. 16th St.) and the Junior After Prom Committee will be providing gift wrapping services. You can find the complete WinterFest schedule of events HERE.

In conjunction with the WinterFest celebration, the Ord Area Chamber of Commerce is also sponsoring a holiday ChamberBucks promotion, giving you the opportunity to get paid for shopping locally!  A total of $2,000 (4 drawings of $500 each) in Ord Area ChamberBucks will be awarded during the holiday season – that’s extra cash that will certainly come in handy during the holiday season.  Guidelines for the ChamberBucks promotion can be found HERE.

The holiday season is also busy with business open house, customer appreciation, and after hour events for our Chamber businesses.  You can stay up to date with those events by visiting our online community calendar.
