Ord, Nebraska is Nebraska’s first Certified and re-Certified Economic Development Community. Eleven years in the making, VCED has worked diligently to catalyze economic growth in area communities. Valley County Economic Development conducts a yearly business visitation program to understand the needs of the local business community. VCED also meets regularly with local businesses to assess the business climate in the local economy. This information is vital for local developers to understand how to meet the current and future needs of the business community.
